So life like, such an amazing tribute to realism and the masters of the Renaissance, so photograph like and so damn real that it is, actually real. No shit Sherlock.

amazing, you are a goddess

The light and shade in this piece, for me, is faultless. The bottom half of this picture could easily be from an old, even damaged painting that has seen better days. You just seem to materialise out of nothing, defying the decay to present the viewer with your expression, in this case one I find difficult to describe. I'm going to stick with sultry despair. There is a sadness and longing about it, I want you to faint just so I can catch you! The small detail of dark nail polish and the subtle piercing almost secretly mocks the classic look that was achieved - does this amount to a modern masterpiece? Darn Tootin'! Sigh, once again I get a bit carried away with comment, but that's what these images do for me - lift me high above the crap factory where the air still smells like air. Thanks again J -- "I make you see more black than a million man march in molasses in a solar eclipse wearing Ray Charles' Glasses" |

It was also a good decision to leave the face free from the effect that transformed the body into a painting. Like a perfect symbiosis between reality and the fantasy of the photographer/the painter
