Artistic Expression
The colours are just beautiful, I love the way that everything has that amazing warmth. The different tones that I kind find in the skin are very captivating. I also love the contrast between the fairness of the model and the deeper, darker texture of the background, it really makes her pop, and gives her an angelic countenance. I also love the contrast between the dark red lipstick and the luminous hair. The composition is excellent too, and I like the way that the model's face is very intense and focussed, but the pose is almost playful- it makes for a really interesting interplay.
I think that the jaunty hair style is working really well for the image, and I like the way that it goes with the more alternative jewellery (especially that mad chin stud). The dramatic eyelashes and eyeshadow make quite an impact. All this makes for a really interesting character, I not sure exactly what feeling the expression is giving me, but it's extremely mesmerising.
